'ADOPT A KILOMETRE' CAMPAIGN FOR #NATIONALSPRINGCLEAN   08/04/2021

Offaly County Council is encouraging the public to ADOPT A KILOMETRE for National Spring Clean during the month of April. Volunteers are encouraged to carry out a litter pick or community clean up within 1Km of their house or village to help clean up Offaly. The Tubber community are delighted to support this initiative, and are inviting members of our community to volunteer to pick litter within a kilometre of their home.

Please register your support, and nominate the stretch of road that you can cover, using one of the following options:

1. Go to Facebook 'Tubber Health and Wellness Club' and add a comment to the post;

2. Go to Facebook 'Tubber GAA Offaly' and add a comment to the post.

You will see on Facebook that many people have already adopted their stretch of road, and there has been fantastic work done already in the first week. A huge thank-you to all those who have participated so far.

Litter-pickers and bags can be collected from Betty Higgins or Enda Murphy.
