LADIES FOOTBALL   15/04/2019

St Manchan's Ladies Juniors played their first game of the year on Saturday evening, when they entertained Ballyfin of Laois in a Challenge in Tubber. The Laois team proved a little too strong for our Ladies on the night, but a big thanks to the visitors for a really good Challenge, which will stand to our Juniors as preparation for when they play their first competitive fixture, in the League this Tuesday against Shamrocks in Pullough, throw-in 7.00.

St Manchan's Ladies U14s travelled to Kiltoom, Co Roscommon for a Challenge Match on Wednesday. Thanks to St Brigid's club for what was an excellent run-out for both teams. Our U14s travel to Tullamore on Wednesday for a League match in Kelly's Field at 7.00.

Congratulations to Annie Heavin and the Offaly Ladies U16 team who defeated neighbours Westmeath by 4-6 to 2-4 in the Leinster Championship, played in Moate on Sunday. Hard luck to Therese Robbins and the Offaly Minors, who were beaten by Dublin in Ferbane on Saturday.

Our Club U16 team have their next fixture away to Rhode on Tuesday 23rd. Details to follow.

Go Games football training for St Manchan's Ladies U6, U8, U10 and U12 switches to Ballycumber this Saturday morning from 10-11.
