Our Seniors qualified for the Senior B County Final after defeating Ballycumber in what was a very closely contested game on Saturday afternoon. The game was in the melting pot for the entire sixty minutes and could have went either way. The first half started off with both teams going point for point up until the 18^th minute when Ballycumber got in for a goal leaving the score at 1-03 to 4. However Tubber rallied for the last 10 minutes of the half and the teams went in all square at 1-04 to 7. Tubber started the second half quickly with two quick points, however on 35 minutes Ballycumber got in behind our defence for a second goal. Tubber responded immediately when Shane Kinahan got on the end of a ball and fisted into the net putting us one point up. Tubber never gave up the lead for the last 20 minutes and won out by a margin of two points in the end. Congratulations to the team and management who now have two weeks to prepare for Shamrocks who await in the final.
