Our U17s live to fight another day, having made a fantastic comeback to earn a draw in the 'White' County Final on Saturday against Shamrocks in Clara. Trailing by 6 points mid-way through the second half, things were looking grim, but the boys put their heads down and gradually began to eat into the lead with some excellent points, while keeping Shamrocks scoreless at the other end. The lead was down to 3 points entering injury time, and then a superb Pauric Robbins goal brought the teams level. When the final whistle blew, there was initially some confusion about whether there would be Extra Time, but it was soon established that there would be a replay. This has now been fixed for O'Connor Park Tullamore at 2.30 on Saturday 13th October, immediately preceding the Senior B Football Final.
