Our Juniors ended the season on a disappointing note comprehensively losing the county final against a very strong St Ryanghs side on Saturday evening in O’Connor Park. Tubber were second best from the start and can have no complaints about the result. St Rynaghs started quicker and rushed into 6 points to 1 lead after 15 minutes. Tubber rallied in the closing minutes of the first half and squandered a few goal chances. The score at half time was 10 points to 5 in favour of St Rynaghs. Things didn’t go to plan for Tubber in the second half with St Ryanghs scoring 2 goals in first 5 minutes and they never looked back winning out comfortably in the end. This was our Juniors team only defeat of the year and although disappointing the players and management can be proud of this years efforts.
