LADIES FOOTBALL   05/09/2018

Our U10 ladies had a fantastic morning at the U10 Leinster blitz on Saturday mornng in Portlaoise. Thanks to mentors Helena and Elaine and our Club Secretary Mary for all their work. Thanks also to all the parents for travelling also.
Our Adult Ladies played Shamrocks in the Intermediate Championship on Wednesday evening in Ballycumber, and although they were defeated on the night, it was a good performance, and a particularly good turnout, and augurs well for our chances in the upcoming Junior Final.

Our U14s played their last game in the group stages of the League on Wednesday, when they defeated Tullamore on a scoreline of 5-14 to 3-8. They continue their preparations for the knockout stages with a challenge game this Thursday against Naomh Maloise in Tubber.

We are still collecting bags of unwanted clothes to raise money for the Club. They can be dropped to Tubber GAA pitch on Saturday 8th September from 10am until 11:30. Thanks for your support.
Training for all ages U6-U14 continues on Saturdays at 10.00am. This week the venue is Tubber.
Our minors open their Championship campaign with a game against St Rynagh's this Monday at 7.00 in Tubber.

Thanks to everybody who supported our 'Guess The Score' competition to help fund our annual trip to the All-Ireland Ladies Football Finals. There were four entrants who predicted the exact score between Dublin and Tyrone, the winners were Alan Healion, Connor Daly, John Cosgrove and Eva Rohan.
