Our Seniors were out in the 4^th round ofthe Senior B championship on Friday last in Doon against St Ryanghs. Despitenot losing the game Tubber will be disappointed with the result as theydominated for much of the game and led right up until the final moments of thegame. Even more disappointing is the injuries sustained by Tubber with CiaranAllen (knee) and Ronan Farrell (Hamstring) having to come off adding to analready long injury list. The first 15 minutes was quite tight with teamsexchanging scores, however after 20 mins Tubber took control through a JoeHiggins goal and went in 4 points up at half time. Tubber kept the scoreboardticking over in the second half but St Ryanghs kept hanging in there and keptthe Tubbers lead to no more than 3 at any point. Then in the final minute ofthe game Tubber conceded a goal after losing possession inside their own half.After four rounds Tubber sit second in the group, but this championship isextremely tight with everyone still in with a chance of qualifying.
