The Cat and Bagpipes golf society played Mountrath golf course on Saturday last for their June outing with a huge turnout of 37 golfers. The winners on Saturday were as follows; Loretto Boland (Category 1 and overall winner with a huge score of 41 points), Veronica Colgan (Category 2), Eileen White (Category 3) and Patricia McCormack (Category 4). In the Two’s club we had 2 winners in Bert Burke and Carmel Scally. The next outing is in Portumna on July 14^th which will be captain Veronica Colgan’s prize day. A weekend away in Galway is booked for the 14^th and 15^th September, deposits can be given to Willie Smith this weekend and all are welcome.
