Our Junior team were out in the first round of the Junior B Championship on Saturday evening away in Gracefield. This was a very entertaining game of football played in perfect conditions. Gracefield got off to an ideal start with a very early goal but Tubber quickly replied with a goal of their own courtesy of Gary Colgan. Both teams went point-for-point for the remainder of the half with Tubber going in a point up at the break. The second half continued in the same vein with end-to-end football being played. Tubber looked to be heading for victory with a 4 point lead with two minutes left. Gracefield had different ideas and scored 1-02 without reply to take the lead. With the last kick of the game James Langan landed a great free to leave the teams level.
